We are witnessing a transformation in business, in which companies, starting from a pure profit approach, turn into a model in which the company addresses social and environmental challenges while at the same time generating profits. This phenomenon is becoming more and more popular and companies are turning to
sustainable models.

During this meeting, we will go through the most important concepts and examples of businesses, especially those related to design,
where sustainability and regeneration are key elements of the strategy. Some of the keywords for this instance are:
Creating Shared Value, Circular Economy, Regenerative Economy, Donut economics, B Corporations, Goals of Sustainable Development.

“...there is no more strategic issue for a company,
or any organization, than its ultimate purpose. For
those who think business exists to make a profit, I
suggest they think again. Business makes a profit
to exist. Surely it must exist for some higher,
nobler purpose than that” — Ray Anderson

The event is in line with the assumptions of the New European Bauhaus initiative.
