We will discuss about subordination to hierarchical systems and uncompromising growth and consumption with Anna Augustyniak – journalist, poet and radio reporter.

There's pudding in Between Us Animals – still warm. There's pseudo-breeding and low-impact when you break your best friend's heart by throwing him out of the car. "It gives me goose bumps, what will it be like,/ when one day we will stand eye to eye/ with those bred for meat and money". – writes Anna Augustyniak. The poet puts an equal sign between human and nonhuman animal species, compares industrial breeding farms with death camps, and extends feminism to female cows and pigs. Questions of subordination to hierarchical systems and uncompromising growth and consumption echo in the background.
