Dariusz Fodczuk

Visual artist, performer. His actions refer to the sense of dignity and freedom, often taking the form of critical opposition against control in art, culture and its institutions.

In the video works and installations he has created over the years, he has taken a stand against racism and anti-Semitism. In his recent work he often takes up the subject of work understood as a fundamental element of the cognitive process. He studied at Maria Curie-Skłodowska University in Lublin and received his doctorate at the University of Arts in Poznan. He is an assistant professor at the Audiovisual and Performative Arts Studio at the Media Art Department, Academy of Art in Szczecin.
